This recall involves the following EEMB products:

Recall 26-465 (Lithium Coin Batteries)
The following EEMB lithium coin batteries sold in individual pouches are included:
CR2025, CR2032, CR2450, CR2477, CR2016, CR1220, CR1225, CR1616, CR1620, CR1632

Recall 26-800 (Charger Kit)
EEMB lithium-ion coin battery charger with rechargeable 2032 batteries.

Reason For Recall

Recall 26-465:

The lithium coin batteries are packaged in pouches that are not child-resistant as required under Reese’s Law.

Recall 26-800:

The recalled battery charger violates the mandatory standard for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries because the lithium coin batteries inside can be easily accessed by children. In addition, the supplied coin batteries are not in child-resistant packaging, and the packaging does not include the warnings required by Reese’s Law.

Important safety warning: When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, they can cause serious injury, internal chemical burns, and death.


Immediate Action Required By Consumers

1.Stop using the charger and batteries immediately and keep them out of children’s reach.

2.Write "RECALL" clearly on the product packaging with a permanent marker.

3.Do not throw the batteries in ordinary trash or recycling bins. Dispose of or recycle them according to your local hazardous waste regulations.

Note:Rechargeable button batteries are dangerous. After providing the required “RECALL” photos, please dispose of or recycle the batteries properly. Be careful not to stack button batteries together.


How to obtain a full refund

Per the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) mandatory requirements, a full refund will be issued only after you complete the following steps:

  • Immediately stop using the charger and batteries and keep them away from children.
  • Provide your Amazon order number so we can verify your purchase.
  • Write "RECALL" clearly on the battery packaging with a permanent marker and provide a clear photo showing the marked packaging.
  • Provide photo proof that the batteries are ready for disposal or have been placed in an appropriate battery recycling or disposal container in accordance with local regulations.

Once we receive and verify the required information and photos, we will process your refund promptly.
